Textual Analysis of Drama Analysis

Introduction:  
Riverdale is an American drama television series which airs on the CW network every Wednesday in the USA. Riverdale is based on the famous comics Archie Comics but with a twist of Drama and Crime. The TV series is about a small town full of different secrets and twist about the town and Archie (the main character) and his three close friends try figure out the towns darkness and twists. 
In the first episode of Riverdale the storyline of the show starts with the death of Jason Blossom with many twists behind the story of his death.

There are 13 episodes in Season One and Season two is currently still airing episodes.

Narrative 
The series actually contain a narrator every episode which is one of the main characters which is Jughead Jones. Every episode he seems to narrating the story of the episode playing and later we found out he is writing a story on the town and its darkness.  
 
Purpose:  
Although the TV series characters are based on the comics the storyline of the episodes are completely different. I would say that Riverdale is there to entertain. Season One episode one was actually age rated by the BBFC at 12 and above.

Analysing Documentaries https://topdocumentaryfilms.com/black-lives-matter-vpro/   The Introduction of is documentary is showing footage of videos from a couple years back with a voice over explain what the footage is and how it links with the documentary as a whole. The documentary is set in the USA and the location of it seems to be an in theatre school where black children can find there voice to speak out managed by a woman who has a big part of the documentary. The format of the documentary is a one off and the purpose of the film is to inform and educate. The platform for the broadcast is an online streaming site. Evolution

Evaluation Unit 9 Editing To begin with the purpose of my music video was to entertain its target audience. Which in this case was young teens to young adults because the song is flashy, pop and fits in more with that generation. It would not also appeal to the older generation. My target for my music video was to make the editing skills match with beat song which is flashy and pop. I achieved this target but with also with some faults. I edited my music video so that the skills match with the beat of song I achieved this tagert but the lip movement of the actors in the video did not really match the pace of the song, so that is something that I would have to work on.
